Cynthia is an award-winning Teacher/Designer who began teaching canvas embellishment in 1987. She was one of the pioneers in the development of commercial stitch guides and has written hundreds of guides for canvas designers and individuals.
Cynthia Thomas, The Needle Artisan, is an award-winning designer who has been teaching needlepoint for over 30 years. She has written hundreds of commercial and custom stitch guides. Her work has appeared in Needlepoint Now and Stitcher's World. Her column, Thread Up, appeared in Needle Pointers. She lives and works in the Texas Hill Country.
She has won ribbons at both ANG Seminar and Woodlawn Plantation.
Cynthia enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge of canvas embellishment, stumpwork and ribbon work with your customers either through an embellishment class or a special project. See her work, pick up a list of available stitch guides, brochure and list of models on display at various booths from her room.
